2/26/2010 Hello friends! Glad to see you're still coming around. If you've noticed, my forum is gone... that wasn't by my choice! There was some code that went bad, when the server guy tried to fix it... well needless to say, it's gone for now. We're looking for a solution, so please feel free to keep coming by. If I find some time, I'll add more species profiles up. I'm eagerly awaiting a new site, where we can start more forums.
10/30/2009 I've decided to update this site as it's been a long time since I've even visited. I've added a few new threads. Hopefully someone will stop by and comment. I see that over time people come by and visit. I hope that I can start getting more activity. I need to spend some time taking notes on activites, measuring water parameters, etc. Between school and work it's been difficult getting back on track. In the near future it looks like the fish room will move from the basement to a 20x20 garage.
Power has come back on, almost exactly 6 days to the hour that we lost it. Don't worry though, we didn't have a single loss of shrimp or fish. We lost all of our frozen foods and perishables, but you'll have that. We are working on increasing our Species Gallery and Info pages. If you have any great pictures or articles you've written about shrimp. I would love to post them and show them off for everyone to see and learn from. Please use the "Email Us" link and let me know. Thanks! (9/21/08)
Power has been out now for 5 days following Hurricane Ike's attack on the Cincinnati area! It knocked out power for almost 1 million people in the area. Most have regained electricity, however, I must be in an unlucky neighborhood. Don't worry though, my critters are doing great! Read up on the Forum in the "General Forum" group. (9/18)
WE ARE BACK!!! Had a temporary server issue with some modules, but it's all fixed now!!!! (9/9/08)
We Are Open!
(This Page is Still Under Construction, keep an eye out for changes)
Welcome,
Please check out the forum as it is now operational. In order to post you must register but it is a very painless process. We are excited as we believe the forum will help answer questions, build friendships, and promote the freshwater invertebrate hobby.
Also, don't forget the store!
We offer free shipping, quantity discounts, and open and honest communication. All of our livestock is guaranteed live arrival. We package with care, we've received poorly packed boxes before and it's always disappointing. In fact, feel free to visit the forum and give others packaging tips. Most packages offer some bonus shrimp to make up for any losses in case of rough handling. A package with 12 2 is guaranteed for 12 live arrivals. Whatever extras that are left, just think of them as free additions to your colony. Often times we leave any small very young shrimp that we catch in the bag when we ship. Young shrimp tend to travel very well and most grow very rapidly.
